Finally got a chance to apply Slipstream to a few weapons today.
I applied a total of six tiny drops to my Glock 26 and worked the action and dry-fired it for about 2 minutes; set the pistol down and got my dad.
"Hey, Dad; do me a favor and go pop a snap-cap in my 9mm and fire it a few times. I got a new lube and I want to see if you can notice any difference." I had to do it that way since I haven't fired ANY of my weapons since April of this year, yet he has fired them all, a lot.
He did as requested. He then said, "What the
did you lube that thing with--some kind of teflon spray?"
I replied, "Nope, Ogre's and GunDoc's concoction called Slipstream."
"I'm going to put some of that in the Mini-14..." As he swipes the bottle and walks off with it.
I'm thinking that I have to buy another kit because I'll never get my first one back from my dad--yeah, I made the mistake of putting it in my safe, which is over at his place.
I Slipstreamed my other pistols, when I distracted Dad with some drag races saved in the DVR, as well as my brother-in-law's Daewoo tri-action-thingy.
Methinks I need to stock up a spare bottle or two: it's not a matter of IF, but of WHEN, mine are going to grow legs and disappear in someone else's range bag.
