was going to list this on ebay for $175 but figured i'd post here first at a WTA "friends & family" price in case anyone was looking for one.
Bought new a while back, mounted it and never got it out to the range until recently and only ran about 200rnds. It's a great red dot but my eyes are shot so can't get a good focus anymore. Threw on a Nikon P-223 instead. comes with box, etc, like new condition

Don't rain on it Kaso ;) seriously they aren't THAT bad.
Katmandoo: The guys here on WTA, myself included have had a lot of troubles with the Lucid. Mine just went dead, as did another guys.
I think all told of 6 HD7's on here 4 of them had problems.
Which sucks because overall they're an awesome red dot.

Oh, well crap that sucks, I didn't know there were problems with them. I've had these two for a while but one has never been shot with and i only shot a couple hundred rounds with the other so of course i never ran into any issues. I sold one to a friend of mine so i will have to let him know if he has any issues i will buy it back from him.
What did Lucid do about it, just tell everyone to get bent?

No, they were great about customer service and replacing them.
No, I don't think anyone on here should have qualms about purchasing yours. AND....if they've worked this long they probably will. I had problems with mine in less than 100 rounds.
However this forum more than most is pretty particular about having reliable scopes. Other forums TALK about quality optics and buy cheaper stuff.
WTA seems pretty good at buying what works, some cheap stuff works good, some doesn't.

I just shot with it last week before i swapped it out with the P223 and it seemed to function fine. I'd keep it if i could get my old eyes to focus on it, i had a friend check it and he said the reticles were nice an crisp and i was just an old man (bastard). I'd rather lose money than rip anyone off though so if there was a problem i'd do what i could to make it right.

Lucids are just fine for what they are. I have two. I wanted to move up to an Eotech, and I tried selling them here a few months back. No bites...

As long as they're working and you don't mind them, pick up a 2X magnifier for your FDE one. I had one with mine and it worked great. I have poor eyesight and just the last bit got glasses, the magnifier had a focus ring and turned a blurry sight into 100% crystal clear. It cut FOV by about 50% but was worth it for me.

I thought about picking one of the 2x mags up but read about the FOV loss and figured i'd go with an optic. that P-223 is a 3x and works really well. If for some reason i don't sell that HD I'll give that 2x a try and throw it on my other AR. Would be nice if you could just get a focus for the HD instead of the 2x, might save some of the FOV. Glad to hear it worked though and cleared it up nice. Thanks!
