not too long ago I built my first AR15, 'Frankie' (Franken rifle). anyways- I like it well enough, but I wish I had a lighter profile barrel.
so I'm planning on rebuilding her upper. keeping only the bolt. so is anyone here interested in a relatively cheap upper?
she has light damage to the front rail from a bad front sight, some finish removed from the receiver from the same sight set. comes with an accessory rail I installed for a VFG, as well as a laced handguard (currently green and black. I'm willing to relace it any color paracord comes in free. just let me know what colors.)

it's $280 shipped, or $260 pickup.

I've shot around 800 rounds through it.

DOES NOT COME WITH OPTICS OR BUIS.

I am not in the market, but a list of component mfgs should help it to sell.   What barrel profile is it?  HBAR?

It's an HBAR profile barrel. I bought it as barreled upper from Dayton Tactical for $350 ish.
It shoots well, but it's not what I wanted, and the money from this sale will go to pay off most of a much lighter upper that I actually like.
I should also add that it has M4 feed ramps.

That depends. It's about a three and a half hour drive from my house. When's your next shotgun course?

I'm not teaching the Defensive Shotgun 1.0 course, but I probably will the 2.0.
And I'll be one of the guys teaching the Defensive Handgun Core Foundation series, 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 courses.

Okay. I probably won't take multiple courses right now
It's a little bit to much of a drive for me.  But I'll look into that.

Alright- to get this thread somewhat back on track-

If anyone is interested, its 220 for pickup/meetup,
240 shipped anywhere in the contiguous united states.

Honestly though- this has been up a while, make a reasonable offer +$20 if you need it shipped. I'm flexible with the price.

The price is more than fair, even considering that a BCG is not included.  More than fair.  The wall you are running into, is that everyone got their uppers after 2013, and it is still a buyers' market.

I am going to pass, but you are making it hard.  Was this a 20" upper, I would have gone for it already.

If it was a 18" or 20" it would have for sure moved already.

    Depends...
I'm in the market for a plate carrier and plates. As well as surplus firearms of any type except a mosin nagant. (One is enough.) Very specifically I'm looking for a RFI 2A1 Lee Enfield, But those things are worth a bit more then a barrelled upper...

I was hoping to sell this so I could use the cash to off set the expense of getting a new one put together. I might just have to suck it up and deal with having two uppers.

I'll take it if you'll do $200 shipped?

Maybe. I have a trade offer in my inbox. But if it falls through, and no one beats your offer, then I think I could do that.

No worries.  :cool   It's one of those things I really DON'T need....or super-want....it'd just be another extra AR  :cool

Aye. Its perfect for a super cheap AR, I think PSA has blemished BCGs for 75ish. With the scuffs it's a great candidate for a rattle can job.
