What kind of sights does it have?  Does it come with irons,  or does it just have the rail for a red dot?   It is pretty tempting.... :hmm
Come on, you know it's a good deal. ;)

Pic rail on the back, dovetail for MI or Samson front sight.  Thought of iron-sighting it and just never got around to it.

Glad you found someone.  I was seriously considering trading an FAL.  Probably would have if it was a 5.56 version,  or if I had an optic already.   I would have needed to buy one though since I don't have any extras.

Dang, NOW you tell me  :neener    For extra FAL mags I coulda found an optic to toss in. A nice tasco or BSA or something  :rotfl

Eh, it's being traded for a N-pap underfolder AK plus a lot of extras.   Sell off the extras and maybe the underfolder as well if it doesn't live up to expectations.

When I bought my 556R new, it came with a Sig Red Dot.  Maybe that was a promotional offer but I was surprised to see it in the box when I opened it up.  If you didn't get the Red Dot, then I just feel that much more special.

Mine actually included a Sig 3X prism scope.....it seemed very faky/chintzy so I sold it to a friend who had an AR.....I had SERIOUS doubts that generation of Sig scope would have held up.  Seemed identical to the firefield/sun/fire optics line.
