WTS or Trade an FN FAL 50.63 Paratrooper....
« on: January 03, 2017, 02:58:11 PM »
Hello all, So its 2017, and i'm going to give this another shot, Pun intended. I have a FN FAL 50-63, it is a Paratrooper model with folding stock, 8x 20rnd mags. I am looking to either trade or sell.
Willing to trade it for an M1A with equal amount of mags or a couple of SIG pistols. A P226 and a P320 in 9mm, or i will take 1000$ cash or money order. no checks. Willing to accept either of the aforementioned pistols and cash too. I'm negotiable as far as trade...if you have something interesting that might change my mind just ask, the worst i can say is no...

Wish I could spare the cash,  but I've got to do the responsible thing and finish paying off my rental house.  Already spent too much on gun stuff in the months leading up to the election.  If you still have it in a few months,  I might be interested.

I have a burning lust for FAL's, yet I don't know a damn thing about them.

Is this a metric or inch pattern?

This rifle is a mix of DPMS, FN and Imbel parts, Custom by Ohio Guns. It is in-between Metric and Inch pattern so both mags will work in it, quite well i might add. I am the second owner, The first owner who was a really good friend of mine never fired it. I shot 220 rounds through it. It is still so new that mags are a bit tight when they lock in. Which on a new FAL is normal. Like the sale says 8x 20rnd mags come with it. Plus a few small parts. I have the original fore stock with it. The rail system cost me another 150$. So that is seperate, unless you want it too...

That little tidbit should have been included in the original post.  :eh

There were no true inch para guns strangely enough. If you ask me though it is a good thing that this gun will take both inch and metric mags.

Yes that is correct, this is a custom made rifle, the owner wanted to be able to use both platform mags.

Is this a 16 or 18" barrel rifle?
Also can you clarify what exactly all comes with the sale? (stock set, parts, mags, gun case, etc.)

Also location-ish IE can a FTF sale be made.

    Thanks!

This FN FAL has an 18 inch barrel. The sale includes 8x 20rnd mags, a spare return spring and the original hand-guards of the fore stock.

The rail assembly is a separate item that costs 150$.

This rifle is in Vermont. I am preferably looking to trade it for an M1A with equal amount of mags, but will take 1000$. +150$ if you want the rail assembly too..

No. I don't like the quadrail cheese graters. I've fondled a imbel with them.
