Marlin Camp 9 with stuff - $600
« on: July 19, 2016, 01:41:35 am »
I bought  this camp 9 a few years back, ran a box through it, cleaned it up, socked it and except for a quick wipe down it's been in the safe ever since. It had the recoil buffer changed and I swapped the recoil spring last week just for good measure.   Overall it's in nice shape,  minor handling wear.  Fun shooter.

Comes with following mags:
(3) 30rnd - Unmarked Mfg
(1) 20 rnd - MEC-GAR)
(1) 15 rnd - Unmarked Mfg  (marked S&W 9mm)
(1) 12rnd - Unmarked Mfg

Also comes with XS ghost ring sights and a very solid Choate Side Folder stock.

WTA price $700 + FFL2FFL shipping, otherwise I'm listing it locally for
 $775-800.

Nice little carbines.  I have the .45 ACP version and they are a hoot to shoot.   :thumbup1

Yeah, they are fun.   If it was the 45 I'd be keeping it, would be groovy to have a carbine that shared mags with my 1911s. I'm still pretty torn on selling it, i'd like to keep it but i just don't shoot it and i need to stick the cash away towards a Springfield M21 or M1A Super, although i would kind of like to check out that Savage BA Stealth in Creedmoor.

Yup.  I run Colt magazines in mine and they work fine.  Doesn't the 9mm version run a S&W pattern magazine?

Yes it does, but I forget which model.... 59?

yeah, 59 series, thought about buying one just to carry with the carbine, they're cheap enough.  Someone was saying they thought it would work with high Power mags also, but you had to notch them, not sure what the point would be unless maybe you ran a HP and didn't mind dicking up your mags, its not like the 59 series mags are hard to find.

Agreed.  The thought of giving up a good 1911 for a S&W Model 59 though just so you could have common magazine capability .  .  .   :doh

My apologies, apparently i was a little optimistic on pricing.   Unfortunately i am unable to edit the original post, but i would be willing to drop the super special WTA price down to $600 shipped.

I have no reason to purchase this, but that's a fantastic price. Surely someone will jump on it  :thumbup1.

I hear ya, just bought a new camper and a new2me truck to pull it with because the wife seriously did not like her last tent camping experience (ears are still ringing).  Of course also had to pick up a couple of generators so we can run the A/C.  Damn gens ate a big hole in "Kevin's Happy Shoot the Crap out of Crap Toy Fund" which was supposed to go towards an M1A super. oh well, happy wife happy life, right?  i ain't feeling it.   :rotfl

Anyone have a SIG320 they might be interested in trading for this?  I know it's a long shot but figured I'd give it a go.

Was really looking for a carry so I'd  have the option to go to a compact or sub frame if I wanted.

The LGS has them new for 580  but the wife has me on a strict "replace not add" diet, so got to trade or sell something if I want one.

Haven't taken the plunge to the 320 yet - still enjoying the P 250 at this point.   That is a nice price on the carbine though, especially with the accessories.
