This.  The parts list is pretty critical.  Biggest items for me are barrel material, coating, and any barrel maker guarantees as far as accuracy.  Bolt material, and if the bolt has been subjected to a high pressure test and subsequent to that a magnetic particle inspection.  If the bolt carrier is a full auto carrier or one of the other styles.  And if the buffer tube is mil-spec diameter or commercial.

Beyond that, parts is pretty much parts, unless there is something notable.

Probably a good deal for a starter AR no matter the answers above.

Not so much LOW End - but very Basic.

The components used to complete this entry level rifle are just that, entry level.  It is a rifle made entirely of parts available from Palmetto State Armory.  No bells or whistles.  It is a weapon that will go bang when the bang switch is engaged.     My whole intention here is to provide a basic weapon for those who don't have the budget for a higher end rifle.

Very Good.   I know sometimes we can get snobby in our AR's, considering I paid $235 for a BCG and Charging handle.  But even still, it's a good deal for an entry level.

Everyone for sure has their preference on the AR platform. I assemble much higher end rifles for particular customers, but I feel I should also provide an option for the guy who can't afford an AR for 2K.

So true.  I appreciate the option to customize just about everything.  It is a way to make it your own.  The entry level AR are a decent start to that.  Lots of people now buy basic and customize in their own way.  I sell more parts than I do rifles and I think that is why.
