I'd say one of the best things about WTA is that there is almost no BS compared to most forums and a minimum of drama which makes me quite happy to call it my home;)

    Hello all,
I'm Paul and I've been looking awhile for a firearms forum that interests me. I have been shooting for a couple of decades and have shot anything that people will let me shoot.

Hello, Skullcrusher here. Some call me Skully, most don't call me at all.

I own some guns and love to shoot. I hunt, fish and do what it takes to protect my family. I got an invite here long ago but for the life of me I can't remember who it was. Anyway, seems like a good forum. I look forward to learning and contributing where I can.

    Thanks for having me.

I see.  I am in SW PA, so it is good to have someone semi-local. :)

Yea, SW PA is just over there on the other side of the river and the WVa panhandle. I am about 2.5-3 hrs SW of Sh*ttsburgh *cough* Pittsburgh depending upon traffic.

Always good to know of like minded folk somewhat local.  :thumbup1

Rats.  I am only 45min out of it, so we are not that close...

But as to your opinion of Pittsburgh, it was the fact that I have to go into certain neighborhoods that prompted me to get a LTCF in the first place.

Dark Sky Solutions here finally. Originally from Arizona and after a 20 year hiatus in the military I have returned to Arizona.

Dark Sky Solutions is my business name but most know me on other forums as Doc since I was a Hospital Corpsman for 20 years.

Hope to enjoy this forum as much as the others I am on and if I can help anyone out with anything please feel free to hit me up via PM.

Hi, I'm Kacey.  I also answer to Sevillalost and Dragon.  (It's a long story involving cigars, author John Ringo, and Dragon Con in Atlanta, for those of you familiar with such things.)  I'm originally from South Dakota, but after a childhood as a US Air Force brat and 15 years' worth of my own Air Force career, I've realized that home is where my husband and kids are.  (All together now…. "AWWWW!")  ;)

    Right now, that's New Mexico.

I'm pretty much a rank newbie when it comes to being a firearms enthusiast. (That is to say, I really don't know sh… spit.)   However, I am ridiculously enthusiastic, as I am a big fan of being able to always defend myself and the aforementioned kiddos.  (Husband, too, if it came to that, but he pretty much takes care of himself.)  As it happens, I've realized that a well-designed weapon has a certain elegance about it and… well… now I want them all.  Consequently, our family arsenal is small but growing, and I'm hoping to learn a lot by reading the discussions here.

    Thanks for having me!
