    That'd be the one!
This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty. . . . The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction- St. George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries

Tucker here from the great state of Utah.  Been reading Larry's stuff since the Nightcrawler story. Have a 1st edition of MHI in pristine condition signed sitting on my book shelf, my other copy is in Afghanistan, don't think I'm gonna get it back, which is ok.   ;D  Bought an STI Spartan from Larry a couple months back & love the 1911 platform now.

    Hm, intro, eh?
Hello, my name is Nate, but you can call me Nolo, just about everyone does.
I am famous among my peers for my love of guns, Castro hats, and beards.
I am a refugee from both Hurricane Ike (TAMU Galveston '12, Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!) and THR.
My favorite kind of firearm is the shotgun.
I will be doing IPSC for the first time this Sunday.
I will be getting my Saiga on Nov. 5th.
I own a lovely No. 4 Mk. I Enfield in .303 Brit, made in 1943 at BSA Shirley.
I name my guns and other weapons.
I listen to Disturbed, Seether, Linkin Park, String Quartet Tribute, Nightwish, Rammstein, and about everything in between.
I don't watch television. I do watch movies. My favorites are Gangs of New York, The Boondock Saints, 300 (recognizing it for what it is, which is NOT a documentary), Fight Club, and American History X.
I don't talk through movies unless I lose respect for them.
My two great interests are the performing arts and firearms.
I am not yet 18 (give it 10 days).
    I have voted.
I talk in "perfect" grammar, and use proper punctuation, even when texting. The exception is when I am using speech patterns to convey emotion.
    I am almost a pacifist.
I believe in the Christian God, but I am not a Christian.
I wear size 9 and a half WW shoes, and my right foot is larger than my left.
    Thanks for listening

Welcome to the new folks, that  have joined since I last welcomed folks.

If you will look at the posts before yours, you will read you missed out on the venison chili and brownies.
You missed out on the "entertainment" as well...
    You should have seen grampster...

I mean for a older fella, he moves pretty fast getting to brownies.
    How fast you ask?
He outrun ladies one third his age.  Now that folks, is fast!

Don't worry, you new folks are going to get fixed up with some "eats" as well.
Did you see  all them fish cookers as you drove in and parked?

    Not fish.
    Cornish hens.

We have taken the Cornish hens, rinsed and smeared Cajun seasoning inside and out, and they are all in the fridge marinating.
WE fire up the cookers, and can get about 5 or so in one and we deep fat fry them. When the hen floats, it is done.
It does not take long, and there is no grease.
    Scrumptious!

We have ice chests with blankets, so when one batch is done, we put them in a chest to keep hot, and fix another batch.
Eat all you want, just leave room for the side dishes of potato salad, cole slaw, spinach salad with
hot oil bacon dressing, breads of all sorts and desserts!

There is more to responsible firearm ownership than guns.

Well, I figure I've been browsing long enough, it would be rude to not introduce myself.

My real name is Peter, I live in the wonderfully aromatic town of Tacoma, WA.

I got the Private Joker nickname in Boot Camp (I apparently look alot like Matthew Modine with a bald head and BC Glasses).

My greatest interests are Mil-Surp (I'm a cheap Bastard), Minute-Of-Holy-Crap-That's-A-Small-Group rifles, and Cowboy Action Shooting (I'd participate, but I look like an idiot in a cowboy hat).

    Hi All,

Saw Oleg's note on this site, seems like a good venue, but the screen colors are a little dark for this old man's eyes. Not a game stopper, but maybe a future upgrade could lighten things up a bit.

Anyway, I love the site, and will be hanging around. ;D
