Also you can get a chance to toy with some of that Saturday as well;) I plan to bring a fair collection of my personal rigs out to the shoot, and some prototypes etc so at least there should be some things for guys to poke and prod along with trying if they'd like;)

Take care!

Yep:) There is going to be more details coming soon, I'll let Joe release things though as we get this setup;)

It's also related to my OWB loops for the Texas holsters that I've been eluding to, since they are coming out shortly as well. You got me thinking Crusader 1911 with Adams holster = carry perfection and ultimate BBQ drool material. You know I've been trying to get me an Adams for 6 months now, This might be the perfect way.

Well with my love for 1911's I'd love to send them out the door with the crusader 1911's;)

Shameless advertising...I like it. But my wallet doesn't...

I would say less advertising and more fun;) I get a kick out of playing with holster, especially getting to do draw and fire stuff, as well as talking about designs and prototypes so I guess that's the advantage that I enjoy what I do;) I can go have fun, and if guys like the holsters and gear then hey, it keeps the lights on;) I will say though, I'm looking forward to this weekend, I've got a bit of ammo to test in some of my carry guns and see if it's reliable. I'm not sure how much ammo I can afford to blow this close to heading home(ammo is still more expensive and tougher to get at home). So I still need to do some calculating as well as a trip to Walmart for a few more boxes:)

    Take care!

got my stuff in.   Love it.  Close examination shows real quality, careful craftsmanship,  very well made, yet light weight.   Gonna take some time for the break in period, but, I've already worn my Texas while walking the dog.  I love it.  Thanks again Luke.

Hey that rig was just plain beautiful, granted I've got a soft spot for full quill for some reason. But that rig was just a really good looking rig;)

Glad to hear it sir;) There is some break in, usually on the Texas rigs I find the leading edge along the top of the slide rides a little hard against my leg/hip until the leather gives a little. It's more pronounced the further forward you carry the rig, if I'm running a new rig a 3 o clock it digs in a little more till it breaks in. That said glad your enjoying them;)

This rig is a wedding present for my brother, who is getting married this Sunday.  I have to say it looks great and I am STOKED.  I can't wait to receive it and follow up with pictures with the gun!

Luke made this holster for me as a wedding gift for my brother.  I may have said that before.  I've been meaning to get back to Luke, and everybody on this.  The last three weeks have been nutty.  My apologies, Luke.  It arrived safe and sound, and is marvelous.

Anyways, I have to say, it is work of art.  Absolutely beautiful.  My brother will be receiving it this weekend.  I haven't been able to get my hands on a quality digital camera yet, but rest assured, I will get some pictures of it in action as soon as possible.

    Thanks Luke!

Well guys and gals it's that time again;) Figured I'd show off some rigs I've built out over the last month or so.

There are probably more that I'm not seeing handy;) However this is a short version of some of the standout rigs that I've done lately, it's tough though because there are always nice black ones but I do so many black that after this long they start to look similar;)

Well I had a little bit of time this week and I had an itch to build a holster for myself. My PT145 has been getting carried a little more often and as dumb as it sounds I've been wearing long underwear most days in the shop;) So as a result I often can't fit an IWB rig in my pants because of the extra space they take up so I've been wearing OWB rigs more often(unless I happen to be wearing some of my larger jeans that will fit). Either way I noticed that my rig I'd been using for my PT145 was a few revisions back in design and since it was a prototype to begin with it had a couple flaws that were bugging me. It wasn't holding nearly as tight as a like because I made an error on the design(I revised it for customer rigs), either way it wasn't working as well as I liked and it was time to build out something neat for myself an exotic leather lined rig. So I was building out some customer rigs in elephant hide and I noticed after cutting one of there's I was left with a piece of elephant that was fairly small but just big enough to do a full coverage on a small gun like my Taurus so I built it out;) Here are the results:

Still breaking it in, since it's fairly stout with the leather lining and the exotic it's going to take some time to really take to my hip(I'm reasonably skinny and often carry nearly at 3 o clock with a crossroads rig so it's gotta make a pretty aggressive bend to match my hip). Overall though I've worn it around 14 hours so far(a few yesterday and all day today so far), and at first it was really stiff and wasn't conforming but now in the last couple hours it's began to give a little bit and coming into it's own. Wasn't too tight because of the way I had to build the wet molding(can't leave the real gun in overnight like a dummy gun). So break in from drawing was pretty limited, the leather lining made the draw pretty dang smooth right out of the gates as well. So overall I'm very happy with my new rig, now I just need to find another piece of this hide to build a matching solo mag carrier for it;)

    Take care!

Well I haven't looked real close in a while but I think I've shipped rigs everywhere but to Hawaii, there might be another one but not that I recall;) It's been pretty even distribution a little heavier in some of the more gun friendly states, but overall pretty even;)

The funny thing is I've posted oh probably hundreds of pictures of those rigs around, and customers have done the same. That is the second time anyone has noticed that the spelling was wrong;) One was a customer a few months back and I forgot about it after;) Then here;)
