Lead time update
« on: November 10, 2013, 05:43:10 PM »
Hey Guys and gals we're dropping the lead time, getting through some of our orders faster than expected and Sarah has been in the shop a little more than before so we're going to try for 8-10+ weeks for a while;) This is notably I think the lowest lead time we've had since 2010 from my memory, so those of you not interested in waiting 18+ weeks now is the time to order;)

Thanks for the support guys and take care!

And in other news I think I've finally started to turn around this cold/flu/plague that has been kicking me in the pants for over 3 weeks now too;) I haven't been this sick in 20 years, but finally I'm able to take a breath without coughing and I'm back to work;)

Alright guys I'm apparently getting quicker in my old age or I'm spending too much time in the shop :neener Could be the fact that I've got snow on the ground and the idea of hibernating next to the wood stove inside is much nicer than going out and getting things done outside;)

Whatever the reason I've really been moving through my orders so the good news is it means another drop in the lead times, I'm pushing it down to 6-8 weeks. So for the first time in a very long time you can get one of my rigs in about 2 months rather than well allot more;)

Take care guys and as always thanks so much for the support it's appreciated;)

Oh and just for fun here is what the happiest little boy known to man looks like after we gave him his 4 wheeler the other day;) A good friend of mine gave it to us since his son was too big for it, a little bit of rebuilding the carb and some other minor stuff and he's got his first set of gasoline powered wheels;) He's getting too big far too fast and he's taking after daddy;)

Well just a quick update our lead time was 7-9+ weeks and we're bringing it on down to 5-7+ weeks, not a huge change by any stretch but just wanted to update the thread for guys in a hurry;)

    Take care!

    5-7 weeks? Awesome!  :thumbup1

Do we forget that cops were primarily still using 6 Shot Revolvers well through the mid 80's? It wasn't until after 1986 that most departments then relented and went to autos.
Capacity wasn't really an issue then... and honestly really it's not even an issue now.

Changing the lead time a little bit, going to 6-8+ weeks since we've been pretty busy lately and between orders and the winter we're probably going to have I'd like to make sure I'm hitting my estimate;)

    Take care guys!

Alrighty been a busy spring on orders, and with Sarah not back in the shop full time I'm running solo more often than not;) So I'm bumping the lead time to match the current bunch of orders I've got sitting. I'm putting it up to 14-16+ weeks, which should be pretty accurate with things right now.

    Take care!

No problem.  I still prefer "just right" to "right now" for most things.

Steve I did it just for you;)

Aikorob I haven't done white but I suspect I could pick up something and use it like I do exotics as an overlay and build it out that way for her. I'd have to take a look at one of my suppliers though and see what they have etc. But I'd say 99% yes;)

    Take care
