Hope you don't mind me sharing how I'm working slowly on my memberships.  Am disabled, money is tight (finished a Comp Sci degree, then got sick), but have been throwing my pennies at things I feel are important.  I really don't mind eating beans & rice more often

Started an easy pay life membership with the National Rifle Association (after having been an Annual member for about 5 years), about 1/3 the way through paying that off.

I let my NRA membership lapse after their antics a few years ago.  They pissed me off good.   However, I do maintain my Kansas State Rifle Association membership, they have done an outstanding job here in this state.  Within the last few years we've gone to one of the best states in the country for gun laws.

I understand, I let my original membership lapse many years ago as well.  Glad to hear about Kansas becoming more pro-gun!
